I always strive to help, but with a billion organizers out there, it's tough to see if ready instructions or if it's one I have is about.

Tell more.

CSV

When using Lotus Organizer 4.0 or higher, export the data from Lotus Organizer to a Comma Separated Values file (.CSV). You may then Import the Comma Separated Values file (.CSV) into Excel or just try opening it from Excel.

Re: CSV

There are only two options in Organizer to export to .DBF or .TXT. I exported the file to .DBF and imported it into Excel, the first column said FALSE all the way down, the second column was blank, and half of the information was missing. So I deleted it all and tried again with the same result. When I open Excel today, I see there is no option under any of the headings to import anything, although there was when I had created the .DBF file. Its all very strange.

(NT) Try the universal work-around: copy-paste.

DBF is.. DBF and TXT can be made into CSV.

Excel on a default install may or may not support DBF. Your skill and acumen are needed to install that feature. I leave that to you.

About TXT. That's a grand option. Export it as TXT and see if it looks ok in NOTEPAD. What you will find is that TXT and CSV are exactly the same except a comma is placed between data items. You can edit a TXT file manually to be a CSV (which is much faster than re-entering data!) Then when done, rename it to .CSV and open it with EXCEL.

In fact, even a TXT file can be opened in Excel. Just name it to CSV. It will not be what you want, but it shows the path you take.

I did as you said, it was full of " and commas, so I did search and replace several times as there were different numbers of them, then opened it in Excel and it gave me a menu to select which columns I wanted. I do have something I can use now, its not at all perfect, but when I have time I can edit it. Thank you for your help.
