Ordered a Samsung BD-C5900 (Internet READY!)

by Bootdink / December 13, 2010 10:16 AM PST

However, when it arrived I quickly discovered that I had to order a 65.00 dollar "WIRELESS LAN ADAPTER", Two small pieces of USB plastic. One about an inch squre with a USB end and another the size of a BIC disposable lighter with a USB cap. I have no idea whee either of these devices belong.
I have a wireless router, and am sure that one of them goes into it, but I don't want to screw it up, and I don't want to have to return everything!
So can someone please help me plug these two items into wherever the belong?
Product: Samsung "Wireless LAN Adapter" 2.4/5 GHz
Model: WIS09ABGN

The smaller piece is a "angle adapter", the "bic lighter" sized one is the wireless part.

You can attach the angled piece to the the larger one to make a smaller profile at the back or you can leave it off and have the large piece stick straight out of the unit.

The only part you can discard is the protective cap on the larger one.

Bootdink,

The WIS09ABGN LinkStick is attached to the USB port on the rear of the Blu-Ray player (marked "wireless LAN adapter". If you insert it while the Blu-Ray is on, it will invite you to connect wirelessly. You'll have to choose your wireless network and enter your network password.

More information is available on Page 27 of the manual.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
