Question

Order of Email Folders in Left winow

Mar 15, 2013 9:22AM PDT

Hello group, I am new to using Windows Live mail. I have 3 email names, and I am trying to to use the "ALL EMAILS" folders to handle them. I have changed the "sort order" of these folders. But, each time I run my system and bring up WLM, the program changes the order these folders are displayed. The fact that the program has provisions to move folders up and down leads me to think that there must be a way to lock the display order that I have arranged. I can not find any method to do this. thanks in advance to anyone for any help.

Hello again. I am not refering to the subfolders within each account.
My question concerns the Catagory Folders as shown below. these
are the major account folders I can open or close

-----------------------
Quick Views

Email from Account 1

Email from Account 2

Email from Account 3

Outbox

Storage Folder
---------
I can move these folders, but when I reopen WLM the return to a preset
order. I prefer:

Email from Account 3

Is there a registry value that forces WLM to sort the
order each time it opens??

Thanks.

But the answers I found are pretty clear. You can move them but it does not stick. There's a few reasons I answered with a link. Many folk don't believe it.
