You've got a unique problem. Even all-knowing google doesn't know anything about "OPTIONS-ROM COULD NOT BE FOUND" Or possibly your problem is not unique, but you didn't put the right message in your post. Only you can check.
On the face of it, it's a problem with the motherboard or the BIOS. So I'm thinking you need a new motherboard, which - for any PC still running XP - more or less is the same as a new PC.
But I might very well be wrong.

I have been having a problem with shutting down my computer using the :Shut Down" on the start button. So I press the on and off button on the PC itself. Now I get a black screen the says..."OPTIONS-ROM COULD NOT BE FOUND. Once the black screen comes up I do not get a "Operate in Safe Mode. What am I missing and what should I do. I'm thinking it's my video driver.
