They did go to 2MP on that camera. You see them out there from time to time.

I have no issues at the office with SD Memory cards and we have the office with a few memory card readers (cheap things) but we don't run anything less than Windows 2000 so the transfers are painless and memory card readers just work.
Less than 1/2 the office machines and laptops have floppy drives now.

We need to purchase another digital camera for our sales reps. Right now, we're using the Sony Mavica's b/c of their floppy disk capabilities. The features of these cameras are woefully limited, but they like them b/c of the floppy.
I would like to get them into something with more capabilities, but need to keep the file transfer simple. Am I right in assuming that the camera can be plugged into any usb port on a PC to offload photos? Is any software required to do so? Since several reps will be using it, I don't want them to have to install software on any PC they come across.
Do you have any recommendations for cameras? Or, should I just stick to the Mavica's?
Thanks in advance
Tom
