Is it KB310429?

HOWEVER I see system wide changes to support this font and more. I won't write at length but Microsoft is streamlining updates to reduce support costs. That is, no longer will you have folk with hundreds of variations on the install Windows. It's proved too costly so to unify the code set my bets is that updates like this are changing from optional to important and later, mandatory.

It probably is the update I,m thinking about. I just know that there were a few unselected updates in my history that are not there anymore. And I suspect they were uploaded. otherwise they would still be in the optional unselected updates.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
