Optical cable conexion for samsung soundbar hw c450

Aug 17, 2010 10:49AM PDT

I've recently purchased a soundbar hw c450 which brougth an optical cable AH3900779A, but when I tried to connect to either the soundbar and the tv set (LED TV SERIES 6) it didn't match with the socket of any of them. I would like advise on what to do. It's a optical cable reference AH3900779A the correct one?

Thanks.

My optical cable port is now broken and I am not left with a sound bar posted up on my wall. I don't know where to get it fixed. It's been sitting there for a few months. Please advise. The cable didn't ever fit correctly.

ddsneed,

Could you still use RCA cables at least? Most soundbars have both an analog and a digital input. It may not be the most ideal setup, but you'd should still be able to use your soundbar for its intended purpose.

What model of Series 6 TV do you have?
