If you find some other way to get apps, like an Android phone, then you may find that the zuneHD actually is really nice for media. I have had mine for well over a year and have not had any problems. Download the Zune software to your pc and use it for a few weeks. If you do get a ZuneHD having the software runnning on your pc before you connect it by usb is a requirement. This is NOT a bad thing as the two seamlessly work well together with no bugs that I have come across.
There are some important apps that the zuneHD does have: Facebook and Twitter, and various other apps including an awesome racing game called Audiosurf Tilt.
All zuneHD's have wifi and an internet browser that works if you have a decent router like a D-link.
Best feature of all:ZuneHDs can play WMA lossless if you rip CDs that way on your pc
I just got some money in the bank, and I really need to buy an MP3 player. (My DSi gets like, an hour's worth of music before it dies. Worst purchase ever). I hate Apple, and Microsoft is usually pretty buggy, so iPod and Zune are pretty much ruled out unless they're really nice. I really want to have more than just an MP3 player. Something with apps/radio,possibly pictures and video, and that usues a few different file types, not the standard one or two per player.
Any ideas on what I should get? Something under $200, if possible?
Thanks!
