Question

operating system question

Jun 29, 2015 12:14PM PDT

I am running OS 10.6.8 and have the capability to up grade. I would like to go to 10.7 at least. My fear is that my camera soft ware will not be able to run on the upgrade.

I like this camera very much and it works great with excellent results. If I upgrade to the next level and camera doesn't work can I go back?

I know at some point I will just have to buy another camera but it is hard to let go. Any thoughts? Thanks Tom

Answer
For me, never worried about that. Why?

Most of the camera software was to transfer the pictures from camera, over USB to the computer. Since I use the old fashioned(?) USB card reader I never install the camera maker's software (usually buggy for me.)

Next time, tell more about the camera.

Camera Fuji S3 Pro
Jun 29, 2015 4:18PM PDT

My Camera is a Fuji S3 Pro. I shoot tethered to the computer for studio jobs so client can see image instantly. Fuji doesn't support the camera any more but as I said it makes nice pictures. As said I am running OS 10.6.8 and have the capability to up grade. I would like to go to 10.7 at least. I was wondering if that small of an upgrade would make my camera software inoperable.
Thanks Tom
