Opera users-Can you stay logged in to these forums?

Sep 25, 2004 10:18PM PDT

Running Opera 7.53 b3850 on XP Pro

Opera set to accept all cookies

I cannot stay logged in to these forums. If I leave the site and come back later, I am no longer logged in. On the old forums I logged in, bookmarked several forums, and any time I opened the bookmark, it opened the forum with me already logged in. Does any other Opera user have this problem?

Once you have logged in, you will continually to be logged in as long as that browser you logged in with is open, unless you manually log out. ONce you close that browser session, the system will automatically log you out.

This is a safety feature we considered in case you are using a public/shared computer to prevent others from hijacking your forum account.

Hope this clarify things a bit.

although, as an Opera user i know that if you leave your browser open (not neccessarily open on a Cnet page) your cookie for Cnet should be 'usable'...
