Opening File Types in email

Jul 14, 2004 12:41AM PDT

Please help me understand file types. My wife makes a flier each month which she emails to 50 or more people. She uses various graphics including word art and clip art. When she made it in Microsoft Words, some people could not open it so she made another copy in Microsoft Works. Now she makes two fliers each month. Is there a program she can use which would allow her to email only one flier which could be open by people with all versions of windows?
Thanks.
Ron

You could try Open Office and see if its word processor opens it. If so, you can create a PDF file which most people can open.

Thanks Bob. I will try it. Your reference to this program was what prompted my question. Greatly appreciate all of your efforts. You have contributed a lot to my education.
