Then you probably have a firewall setting that does not allow attachments with pix. In that case I would suggest lowering the barrier a little so that they can get through. Amos.

Another possibility

is that your basic settings do not allow it. Have a look at Internet options/Advanced/Multimedia. Next to "show pictures" it should have an affirmative click. If it does not, that is if the square is white, click on it. Good luck - Amos.

Amos16; checked my "advanced internet options" and
all boxes checked correctly in multimedia. Still,
not working! Amos16, there are some other applications to try for this problem in Computer Help.

opening images in e-mails
by giorgitd / March 8, 2006 1:36 AM PST

Ted, I am new to this method of researching, but I am so glad to have found a way to communicate. I too, have been having the same problem with my images: Gif,
Jpeg, Clip Art. I have been searching everywhere for
answers. Last week, I found several other applications on the Computer Help Forum, I haven't tried yet. Right-clicking "show picture" does not work. And, speaking for myself, "advanced internet options" multimedia, all my boxes are correct and still I am having trouble receiving and sending. Funny thing, I can email myself an image from one account to another and sometimes it works!
