opening e-mail attachments

I an unable to open any attachments in my outlook express. It was working ok two weeks ago now i am have trouble trying to open any attachments . When i try to open one it says that this file does not have a program associated with it for preforming this action

Remember that recent security changes can do that.

But first a test. Save the attachment to your desktop and see if it opens.

The result will guide the next advice.

What Is The File Extension On The File?

You may need to re-associate the file extension to the file type.. After saving the file to your desktop, RIGHT click on the file, choose "Open With", then select "Choose Program" from the menu.. When the "Open With" dialogue box opens, place a CHECK mark in the box that says: "Always use this program to open this type of file", then scroll through the available programs and double click on the appropriate program for opening that file type.

If you can't fine the appropriate program to open that file type, please let us know the file extension on the file on your desktop..

All this means is we need to have some app to open this with.

Can you share the EXTENSION of this file?
