Opening E-Mail Attachment Problem

Oct 3, 2008 9:52PM PDT

Windows Vista-3000 K Series- Ram 3GB-Hard-drive 280GB.
Rogers-Yahoo is the ISP.
This started a day ago:
When I receive an e-mail with an attachment I would usually open it by left clicking the attachment and opening or saving it.
Now I have to RIGHT click the attachment and a dropdown menu asks me to 'Open in a New Window'. A new window appears and then I can open the attachment as normal by left clicking the attachment.
Please assist me in getting this back to normal.............Thanks.

How are you accessing your e-mail?

Specifically, is it a desktop client such as Windows Mail, Windows Live Mail, Thunderbird, etc, or are you using the Yahoo website?

Let us know.

Yes, but...

Yes, but telling us your computer brand and ISP doesn't really help in this situation. We need to know HOW you get your email. Do you go to some website, like the Yahoo Mail website, or do you use some program, and if so, which one?
