Question

Opening apps in Windows10 faster

Is there a way to move down the alphabetical list of All Apps quickly in Windows 10? Just hitting the 1st letter of the app I want to open doesn't work. Is there an easier way to move down the list than scroll scroll scroll?

TIA

Answer
Here I simply pin the ones I use all the time.

Also if I want notepad I type that in the search bar and it's there in about 3 letters then I press return.

What I did...

was get rid if all things I don't use, then resize the tiles to small and put them in the order I use most. So a click on the Windows icon shows everything I need without scrolling.

I either put them on the taskbar

or create shortcuts on the desktop.
