i am using utorrent and it keeps saying i need to open a port.
any ideas how i do this

First, a little more information from you would help especially about your computer. What type of connection are you using? Do you have a router? If so, does it have a firewall enabled? What type of file are you trying to download and which port is required to be opened? Next, are you also using a software firewall? If so, which one?
