Your messages in general have lot of useless information and very little data on what the actual problem is.
Q: what is 'Readable in Desktop'
Gatta
Yesterday I had asked about getting the information on a CD-R to read on my XP. I tried everything, and than I was able to make the cd readable in my desktop using Windows 98. Someone told me that it would be easier to open in 98 rather than XP. I can now see the files and folders, but am still getting the same message when I click to open them:
"This file is compressed and intended for use with Adaptec DirectCD 3.0 or later." Maybe there is an easier way to open it now. Thank you in advance for any insight. Donna
