"Open TechTracker Page" message problem

Feb 6, 2011 6:24AM PST

I just upgraded to TT 2.0 (47A) and ran it for the first time. The message box had the familiar message "n tracked items, m updates available", and it says for further details click on "Open TechTracker page", but there is no such place to click. This worked in previous versions. This is no real problem because you can log into cnet.com and click on TechTracker to get the latest scan results.

3. Enter the e-mail address associated with your account.
4. From the "Category:" drop-down menu, choose the "CNET TechTracker" option, and the "TechTracker General" sub-option.
5. Fill in the subject line and the "Details:" section.
6. Click the "Submit Question" button, and please be sure to follow through to the final confirmation page!

I have the same problem -- when you get the solution, could you post it here, please?

The problem disappeared several days after I reported it. I don't know what resolved it. As stated in the original post, I circumvented it by logging into cnet.com and clicking on TechTracker to get the latest scan results.

The problem is back. However, I noticed that when you mouse-over the "Home" icon in the top bar of the message window it says "Open TechTracker page" which does just that when you click it. So, if that message is not displayed as a clickable link, just click on Home.

Ah, I see now. (Though I could swear I spent some time a couple of days ago trying to see tool tips there, with no success...) Thanks for your response! (Why does TT have such flaky software, and such nonresponsive support?) Eleanor
