and how I normally do it, is wait for the original page to load until you see the link you want, then click the X in the toolbar to stop the rest of the page from loading if there's nothing else on it you want. Then right click the link you want, open in new window and when you're done close the new window and you're back at the original page without having to refresh it.
There is no other way to get a page to open in a new window unless the website itself has written the link in a certain code to do that for you.

I always open a new window when clicking on hyperlinks. Of course to do this, I have to right click on the link and choose "open in new window". Is there any way to have new windows open by just left clicking on the links? I'm still on a dialup connection, so its faster for me to close windows that I'm finished with rather than hitting the back button and having the page reload.
