Hi I also want to do the same exact thing, and also do not want to have to buy another liscence just for onenote 2007. I see that no one else has replied, have you figured this out,if yes please share the how to.
Thanks.
My 1st question in forum. Don't want 'heavyweight'(i.e. coding, changing system) solution... if possible.
I Purchased & installed Office Home & Student Suite 2007 for new Laptop. I like OneNote2007 & want to ONLY install 1Note on existing DesktopPC (Windows XP Professional) that already has Excel, Word etc 2003 that I want to continue to use (don't like new "ribbon").
1-Is there a way to only install 1Note?
Appears can't selectively install products.
It says if I 'Install' (Word, Excel2007 etc) versus 'Upgrade', the 2 versions can coexist, but I'm sure there WILL be issues in future that I'm trying to avoid.
I almost prefer purchasing another license for Only OneNote 2007 (might be easier & safer in long run).
Ooops, that brings up Q-#2.
2-Can OneNote 2007 coexist & work with 2003 MS Office products.
Thank you.
