One clarification. Sometimes even with IE some of the pictures don?t show up. I can get on the page but where a picture goes it says IE can not open this web page. It might say that for one advertisement but the others are ok.

Sorry if it doesn't work but it's safe for 99.999% of us.

Find and run WINSOCKFIX.

...run the Network Setup found in Control Panel again.

Also, if you used dialup before, make sure it's not still trying to do so. Browsers tend to default to any dialup connection that's loaded, even if it's not connected any longer. If you have a browser set to automatically connect to the internet when it opens and that was by dialup then probably every browser you open will try and use that connection instead of the LAN connection to the internet.

Go to control panel, clk on the Internet Options icon, then go to the Connections tab and choose the "never dial a connection". Go then to the LAN settings same place and set to automatically detect the LAN settings, then OK button. Now it will look for a LAN connection to the internet.

The other browsers should then also find it.
