Only Certain Sites Work with my Internet Sharing

May 22, 2005 7:29AM PDT

I have a pc that is feeding thru a hub an internet connection to 2 other computers. I am running XP. A year or so ago everything worked perfect. But one break when my sister and I came home from school, certain sites couldnt be accessed from ours. The mast pc it was ok. We cannot get to sites like hotmail, weather.com, hollywood.com and a whole bunch more as I keep finding. I have checked and rechecked everything. I don't know what is going on. Help me please!

if you are refering to a pc that sits at home, while you are away at school, and when you come home on break it gets used. then it could just be that the pc is out-of-date with most if not all programs, drivers,av defintions, security alerts and malware updates.
so if this is the picture then UPDATE as much as you can, or maybe you set a restore point.
a shot in the dark.....is there a program installed on the other two that might keep some sites from being displayed ? is the master pc xp also ?
maybe i'm barking up the wrong tree....if all three are hooked up thru a hub there is no master, they all are equal unlike other set-ups where one pc has to be on for the other one/s to work. *i could be unclear about your scenerio*
