General discussion

only 50% of web pages can be accessed by internet explorer

I've just brought I netgear wireless/adsl/firewall router (serial dg834g). I have a laptop running win 2000 and a desktop running xp home. I installed the software with on problems.

My girlfriend likes the AOL browser and this works perfect with no problems, this is on the main(desktop pc).

When I try to connect to the internet, using internet explorer on my laptop and my pc, it only connects to about 50% sites, these include hotmail, aol, ebay and downloads.com.

It's the same problem on the pc and on laptop.

First I throught it was a firewall problem, so I took it back to the shop and he connected it to his network and it worked perfected.

The only thing I can think of now is its internet explorer, is it compatable with netgear??????

I,ve check the configuration setting over and over again and they are ok.

Please can someone help because I,ve tried everthing I can think of!!!!!!!!
