10 mtr's is one hell of a length the length can degrade the picture, try a much smaller lead
I have a new pc assembled with an ATI 5570 graphics card. I connected a 10m HDMI cable from the HDMI output of the graphics card to my Samsung LED 7 series and it would only allow me to display 1080 interlaced at 30hz refresh rate.
I think because of the 30hz interlaced, my moveis seem to have a stutter/not a smooth flow.
The option for 60 Hz is available from my pc, but the LED does not acept it and "no signal" appears on the TV when I try it.
