Question

Online Supplier Portal

Hi,

I was wondering if someone can point me in the right direction.

I would like an open source online system where i can put my orders and my suppliers get an email informing them an order is there and then they go to it and view the order and once they have sent they upload the invoice and tracking information.

Any help would be great.

My guess is you need a team to install, configure and run such a site. Once in a while a person new to such systems thinks it's as easy to install as Office. Sorry, not yet.

I have been managing websites for many years now including a lot of content management systems i am yet to find software which i haven't been able to wrap my head around so i am just looking for advise on something which would do the job or at the very least without the tracking & invoice upload - its more so i can see my orders accepted by suppliers and when they have been processed.

I never wanted to give the impression i was after an "easy as office" system because its clearly not going to be that simple....

Then it's time to try having it made. You know exactly what you want so you can draw up the spec, some screens and more, then ask your programming staff how long to gen it up.

There are lots of sources which you can put the right direction the best way is to need a team to install which can be including a content management systems
