Are you equipped for online play?

Do you have a broadband modem? DSL or Cable is good. Does your modem have a built-in firewall, most do? If so, have you opened the right ports for your particular game?

There are more questions to be asked and answered as well, but what you really need to do is post what equipment you are using when you are trying to get online.........OK?

btw: A 56k modem will not work fast enough for multiple player online gaming......don't even try!

Give us some particulars my friend and help will be forthcoming a lot quicker.

detailed explanation...
Mar 21, 2007 7:10AM PDT

as I said I'm already playing online, i just started a few days ago, and my connection is pretty fast as it connects right away and I havent experienced any connection issues,
this is my specific problem...

I have a bunch of games, for example "flat out 2", "need for speed carbon" and "gta: san andreas"

So the gta doesnt work online but it is not supposed to either.

Then flat out 2 in its case says "online" and it works online perfectly

Finally need for speed doesnt say online on the case and it doesnt work online....

but I saw a review of the game (need for speed) and it is supposed to work online, I even went to the game's web site and under features it lists "multiplayer online gaming"....

so that is my question....are there 2 versions of the game and only one online capable?

Thanks a lot, Marcelo.

ps: this also happens with need for speed most wanted and i dont remember the other game...
