from the HT-R530, then give it a try. It shouldn't hurt. You might like it enough to save some money on the new speakers. Good luck.
Oh, the SR608 probably have more horse power than the HT-R530, so watch that volume.
I am upgrading my Home theater Setup to go with my new Samsung PN63C8000 3d TV. I had the Onkyo HT-S780 Home theater in a box 1000 Watt 7.1 surround sound system, with Onkyo SKF-530F, SKC-530C, SKM-530S, SKB-530 and SKW-530 Speakers (these speakers come with the HT-S780 in the same box). I wanted to upgrade the head unit from the HT-R530 to the TX-SR608. Will I be taking a huge loss by keeping the speakers, or is that setup going to be the same sound quality as HT-S9100THX?
