Well the logical first step would be to get some speakers.

these are my guesses ar to why the audio isnt working.
1) you are hooking your dish box up through component cables, which dont carry sound
2) you have not assigned the input properly on your receiver

p.s. i think the word you are looking for is bought, not brought.

As far as i remember, RCA connections are not digital (unless i am horribly mistaken). If you are trying to assign digital inputs to a stereo connection no wonder you are having problems. My initial suggestion still stands, buy some speakers. You dont need a reciever if you dont have speakers.

Run all your vidio straight to the t.v. and audio straight to your amp works perfect just change inputs on your t.v. and amp also try and use h.d.m.i. to the t.v. and optical audio to amp sometimes h.d.m.i. switching amp will not pass thru a cable or satellite system stewee

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
