Just I installed Microsoft Office OneNote 2003. First of all I use the audio recording but the sound quality is so poor. The same machine when I use recording with Plus ! Analog Recorder the sound is so good. so if there is there any tips and tricks to improve the recording sound quality with this OneNote please tell me. I changed a bit in the audio setting of this program. Such as Options, category: Linked Audio: Linked Audio : Device - Conexant AMC Audio (installation setting was "default device"), Format- 20kbps, 22kHz, mono.

Mic

Request for fixing not for refund. I updated to SP 2, and I like OneNotes very much so requested for any help to improved the sound quality. Again I found that the microphone changes the sound quality a lot. First I used built in mic then now I use Logitech external mic it makes the sound quality very good. To use at home with Logitech mic is OK but outside I would like to use the built in mic.

Thank you for your reply.

Just noting I've rarely found laptop internal microphones worthwhile. They pick up the laptop internal noises.

As to fix, why isn't this an issue you can take back to mother microsoft? If indeed the laptop mic works fine with say windows recorder, but not with onenote, you have a leg to stand on to get your money back on the defect.

Only mother has the cure.
