Question

One pixel vertical line on my near new samsung tv

Oct 21, 2018 3:57PM PDT

Hello,
I'm seeing a very thin (1 pixel wide?) vertical line on my near new Samsung 32" smart TV. It's in the centre and runs about 1/3 of the way down from the top edge of the screen. I've tried unplugging the TV, running the picture test routine and checking the Thumb drive input but no change. Not using an HMI cable as strictly on WIFI.
I haven't seen a problem quite like this in the forums and am looking for possible cause and hopefully a DIY fix or at least something to try. Unfortunately I have no tech support or service available in my area or anywhere close so that's not an option for me. THX in advance.

If you google LCD TV issues.

It is not unique or uncommon. The problem is that out of warranty repair here runs more than a new 32 inch TV. You left out the age, warranty status so just call it in and start the warranty claim. This has never been a user serviceable area or a setting. The DIY fix is usually to replace the set.

Answer
It's likely a crack on inner screen.
