ONE of my favourite monologues....

by JP Bill / December 21, 2016 12:52 PM PST

I love political humour...unfortunately some have to suffer...

Seth Meyers Dares GOP to Confront Trump's Dangerous Ideas

"Late Night" host Seth Meyers anticipates Donald Trump's presidency will be the most tweet-filled presidency in history.

“Basically, Donald Trump’s Twitter feed will serve as his version of FDR’s fireside chats,” Meyers noted.

Meyers added that only Trump would say something like, “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself—and Mexicans.”

The power of humour can help heal all wounds...

I REALLY enjoy a good laugh.

We? As in "You"?

For some reason I thought you were retired, just like me.

You don't like Mexicans in America providing a service for YOU?...

Don't go to their employer and hire THAT employer?

Cut your own grass and trim your own trees, that will show them....

Did you hear the one that Hillary was seen walking the woods looking for a Christmas tree?

I wonder if she had a Mexican with her to cut the tree down, would you take that Mexicans job?

You gave me 3 questions...I gave you 6...one of the "7" you counted was YOURS.

You're too old to go for a walk with Hillary and cut down a tree? You're providing work for a Mexican?

They do work for people that are too old AND/OR to wealthy to do manual labour for themselves, but not so wealthy that they will pay more than hiring a Mexican, HEY.!..they're just trying to save a buck...THEY are the real culprits.

They created a demand...The Mexicans provide a service....

The USA was BUILT on people willing to do the 'hard work', JP, in order to provide for their families whether they came as LEGAL immigrants or were born here.

How many of those wealthy 'celebrity' types, including hilLIARy, have you ever seen actually invite their 'hired' help to sit at their tables and eat a meal with them and not be seen as the 'servants' even YOU demean publicly?

Re-read your post and the questions you asked.....how many of them do YOU think you've insulted with your own 'tone' about them?

LEGAL immigrants are welcome here, JP....ILLEGALS are NOT because a large percentage of them, unfortunately, are NOT the hardworking souls you and other liberals make them out to be, and we have ******* politicians who are now collecting TAXPAYER funds, including from LEGAL immigrants who don't want the illegals here any more than WE do, to hire lawyers to keep even the CRIMINAL illegals from being deported. Why is it so hard for even someone like YOU to tell the difference?

So what is stopping them NOW?

WHY do YOU think an "illegal" has a job and an American citizen doesn't have a job?

Exactly WHAT is the "illegal" doing...working harder?...working longer for less money?...WHY does the employer hire an "illegal" instead of an "American"?

ILLEGALS are NOT because a large percentage of them, unfortunately, are NOT the hardworking souls

How many want to live in a barn?
by James Denison / December 22, 2016 7:03 AM PST

There was a farm near here where the Mexicans they hired to replace the high school kids that worked there were given the loft in the barn to live in, so the less pay would go farther. I guess that's what YOU want to see in America.

A couple blocks over, a house had to be cleared of about 20 of them, and that's not counting the children, and over 10 vehicles parked in drive and backyard, leaving each day and coming back each night. They were sleeping in triple bunks. One of the girls went to same school as my daughter and they were friends there, but either the landlord ran them out or INS grabbed them. The house was in such a condition the owner sold it at a loss. How did it start? One "nice" couple with a couple children came and rented and then they added or sublet room in the house.

You sit up there freezing your butt off in Whitelandia and seemingly having no true concept of what's going on down here nor the consequences and you don't want to hear or believe anything your uneducated mind and biased opinions have erroneously told you.

That's not even getting into all the ones with their squared off backpacks full of drugs or marijuana streaming across the border. Yes, it's an invasion and they even have their "generals" giving them orders and directing them as they come across the border.

Donald Trump outlines policy plan for first 100 days

Updated 10:34 AM ET, Tue November 22, 2016

Washington (CNN)President-elect Donald Trump unveiled plans Monday for his first 100 days in office, including proposals related to immigration, trade deals and defense policy, using a video published online to briefly outline his proposals.
Trump promised to withdraw from negotiations on the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal, cancel environmental restrictions put in place by President Barack Obama, ask his national security team to buttress against infrastructure attacks, have the Labor Department investigate federal worker visas and impose broad new bans on lobbying by government employees.

The six items Trump detailed Monday are all somewhat easy lifts inside Washington -- because they can be done with a simple signature by Trump and do not require congressional approval.

But Trump also left out his biggest campaign promises -- including promises to build a wall along the Mexican border, establish a "deportation force," place new restrictions on immigration from some majority Muslim countries, repeal Obamacare and spend $1 trillion on infrastructure.

Perhaps you can provide an updated list of what will be accomplished in the first 100 days...I can't find a peep from TheRUMP about his first 100 days PLANNED/PROMISED accomplishments since Nov 22....Another one that has "gone dark"?

Fence?

That's correct and he also hasn't mentioned anything about the WALL..."fence" is his version of WALL, then there is "electronic surveillance",...another form of "WALL" a BIG BEAUTIFUL WALL.

I figured I would turn the table for a change....

WALL - synonyms: barrier · partition · enclosure · screen · panel · divider ·
bulkhead · fortification · rampart · barricade · bulwark · stockade

There are areas of our border where a 'stone/brick/mortar' type wall isn't possible because of the terrain; however, manpower or electronic surveillance or even a fortified FENCE for those areas is STILL a barricade/WALL of defense.

Just because he hasn't mentioned any of it since Nov.8 doesn't mean it won't happen but even YOU have to admit that over half of that wall is already built and the other half will take longer than 100 days to construct or put into place, JP. He hasn't had any interviews or press conferences since then either, much to the chagrin of the liberal media, because HE'S BEEN A LITTLE BUSY thanking his supporters and getting his cabinet in place, so there hasn't been any opportunities to make you happy on a personal level.

As for his 'deportation force'.....THAT'S already in place....it's called ICE and they'll FINALLY be able to do their job thanks to him. Bad guys who don't belong here, get ready.....they're coming for you.

We've been down this ridiculous road many times before
by TONI H / December 22, 2016 8:26 AM PST

For a large part, Obamacare rules and regulations dictating working hours and what is now considered to be full time vs part time and how many employees CAN be hired started the entire part time jobs routine for employers which took that option away from the school kids and the 'level entry' type jobs became the sole incomes for FAMILIES instead.

When you can finally make some constructive remarks, let me know.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
