I have 2 desktops hardwired and 2 wireless laptops, all Win XP Home OS and all using the same router. All can connect to the Internet but in trying to set up printer sharing I find that one laptop uses a different default gateway than the other three. I can ping to and from every computer except of course the one with the unique default gateway.
The three computers with identical default gateways can ping the router, and so can the laptop with the different default gateway.
I've changed the default gateway on the rogue laptop so it's the same as the others but then it can't access the router.
How can I bring this laptop into line so it's compatible with all?
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
