First off

First off, PLEASE stop typing like an idiot and actually spell things out.

Second, hit some local game store to see what they have for 15 quid (we don't have a pound sterling symbol on our keyboards, and I'm too lazy to even copy and paste yours) or less. On this side of the pond, there's a chain called GameStop that sells used games, so maybe look for something similar over there.

Since the unfortunate reality is that you Europeans end up getting shafted by the gaming industry in a big way, some game that may retail for 20USD here in the States won't necessarily go for 15 quid in England. So you really should check what prices are over there. But hey, at least you get some top rate TV. Classics like Red Dwarf and Brittas Empire, Vicar of Dibley, Doctor Who, Torchwood... That new BBC Merlin show isn't too bad. Spooks wasn't too bad the first couple of seasons. Secret Diary of a Call Girl was interesting, and of course who could forget The IT Crowd. You had the good version of The Office, Drop Dead Gorgeous wasn't too bad... So, you may get screwed over on games, but trust me, your TV programming is top rate.

Also... Got off on a bit of a tangent there... Check to see what kinds of games you can get for 15 quid or less, and then check the reviews of those games.

Personally, I was rather underwhelmed by Gears of War, but I also can't stand the flood of pre-pubescent kids on any online service, so I only play single player or with friends. It MIGHT be better playing it online, but I can't really say for sure. It probably would be a bit more fun playing with a friend or 2 or 3, but I'm the only one I really know with a 360 so can't say for sure.

So, make sure that whatever game you look to get is one that you are likely to enjoy. I'm not a huge action shooter fan, so I didn't enjoy Gears of War that much. I enjoyed Tales of Vesperia much more, even though as JRPGs go, it wasn't all that particularly noteworthy. It also felt like they had to cut out large sections of the game, and then stitch the remaining bits back together in a hurry the way the difficulty had a tendency to spike at random intervals, and the number of unresolved plot issues. The point is, make sure it's a game you're going to enjoy, not just a popular one. I'd also look for one with a lot of replay value. You'll beat the single player campaign of Gears of War in 2-3 days tops on easy, maybe another day or two for each successive difficulty level, but there's just not much of a story to the game, so unless just shooting lots of enemies is enough to keep you going...

BioShock has come down in price quite a bit recently if you haven't played it. I actually enjoyed that game, and I'm even less of a FPS fan than I am action shooters like Gears of War. Not sure if it can be had for 15 quid, even used, but it's one to look into.
