One Care Backup won't work on W7

Oct 26, 2009 2:01PM PDT

Just caught this, this morning before installing W7.

If you are using Windows One Care, still... read this link below...
Apparently W7 won't recognize your backup files, done with One Care after you install W7! Unbelievable!

Thank you for this, it just amazes me MS has not posted this on their Windows Live site... or even sent a notification... about this...

I just downloaded it... will install later.

It still begs the question, I have my docs & pictures backed up on my external Seagate hard drive... by using One Care... so I assume I have to format the back up drive & do a new back up, without using One Care? This is going to take hours.... I am not happy about that!

Any further advice would be very much appreciated...!
