Few know CMS by me are :

Wordpress : Simple to learn can be customized to a large extent , most used CMS world wide , very old CMS in the market which is updated regularly, the only issue is security need to be updated and secured properly or it can get easily hacked.

Joomla: One more CMS with lots of development and themes available in the market , not that easy to learn

Drupal : Good Secure CMS application , with slow development.

CMS are also very helpful for management of your content. They provide a very easy way to manage content. so many companies are offering paid and unpaid CMS softwares.
