On my MAC ... want to Uninstall Bounceback

Feb 3, 2012 2:30AM PST

I want to uninstall the Bounceback software, but I do not have the Bounceback Installer icon (so do can not click on the uninstall button). Can I simply move Bounceback to the Trash??

Thanks for your reply ... but I downloaded BounceBack from the internet and would need to buy it again to get to the uninstaller.

As you are a legitimate owner of the software

contact the developers and tell them of your problem.

Thanks mrmacfixit ... CNET is the developer. I couldn't find their phone #, will try to find their email address. Since you fix MACs, do you think I can just drag the BB icon to the trash to uninstall it (even though the BB Guide does not mention that choice?? I have an iMAC 10.4.11 (Tiger).

Intruding here

and perhaps where I shouldn't being a Windows user.

But I note you said that CNET is the developer of Bounceback.

Do you mean the Bounceback Professional for Mac as described in Download.com's page here?
http://download.cnet.com/Bounceback-Professional/3000-2242_4-46442.html?tag=mncol;1

If so then I have to say CNET is not the developer and as far as I am aware CNET does not develop software of its own. That software is advertised and offered for download by Download.com on behalf of the 3rd party software developer who in this case seems to be CMS Products with their web site at;
http://www.cmsproducts.com/

You may need to contact them and I notice their web site has a Support option and a Contact Us option.

I hope that helps.

It's a first for me, helping in a Mac forum. May be the last as well considering my knowledge of Macs Happy
