Question

Ominous search bar that won't delete from my screen

Apr 27, 2018 12:22PM PDT

Hey I have this search bar at the top of my screen that stays above anything that I have on my desktop even if it is maximized. It has an option where I can change it from chrome to internet explore, a backward page button, a forward page button, a refresh button, a search bar, and an options button on the right side, with no minimize button maximize button nor delete button. Is there any hot key/shortcut or any download or software that can definitely remove this from my computer?

What browsers are installed? You could go check all the tasks or programs running and see if you could identify the culprit, or post a list of them and get some helpful input.

often called a toolbar too. Any more information on it? Give MalwareBytes a chance to recognize it and remove.
