I remember there being a limit of how many files you can put in the root directory of a disk
Create a folder on the xD card and put all the pictures files in that folder.
I purchased a memory card to use in a digital frame. I had about 800 MB of pictures I wanted to transfer to the card off of my computer. When I inserted the card into the computer I copied the entire folder of pictures onto the memory card. After about 325 MB it stopped and every picture said it was unable to transfer file. I did a variety of things and still was unable to get all the pictures on the card. I had an extra 4GB Kodak SD card laying around and was able to get them onto that card. When I looked at the available space on the card it showed 1.97 GB available. I thought maybe I was trying to transfer too many pics at once so I tried it in batches still to no avail. Is there something I am doing wrong?
My computer is running Vista 32 bit, 4GB memory.
