Olympus FE-46 Stray Pixel

Hi,

I just got a new Olympus FE-46 camera and it was working perfectly. However, later in the day I noticed that a pixel in the bottom center area of the screen was staying constant green when I was in picture taking mode. I know it is not a screen issue though, because when I go to view a picture the stray pixel goes away. Also, when I take a picture, even since the pixel appeared, the pixel does not show in the picture that was taken. It is a puzzling issue. I'm left wondering if it might be a software issue or an issue in the connection between the lens and the screen.

Anyone have any ideas?

Most unusual.
Sounds like a bad connection between the CCD sensor and just the LCD pixel.
But since there is a common Buss, that should affect more than one pixel.
??

The camera is still under warranty.
You can call Olympus Service and see what they have to say.
