Olympus C-3020. Monitor display bad again!

by cttrainer / October 29, 2005 8:23 AM PDT

I have a love-hate relationship with this camera.
I love the way it performs but hate that in less than 2 years the monitor has died yet again.

It displays a white background with various thin vertical colored lines - with what seems no way to correct it. Olympus says ...''sure, send it in for only about $100 we can tell you whats wrong and maybe how much more $$$ to fix it''....

Does anyone think this is worth it? If I replace it I absolutely need a fast flash refresh.

Thank you in advance for your input.

A difficult decision

The camera is still worth saving.
But how much is too much to save it?

A new Olympus C-7070 or C-8080 can be found for about $375.

Thank you Joe, I agree but you hit the nail.....

How much is too much - I'm going to look hard at the models you mentioned. Thanks again.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
