Question

Old Video needs converting

Mar 8, 2015 9:49AM PDT

On my Windows 98 PC, I had an Alaris Wee Cam camera. I created a number of videos. I now have a Windows 8.1 PC with SP2 and would like to convert these old videos. A number of sites indicate the VGpixel codec for the Alaris camera is no longer available. Are there any other converters/codecs/whatever that I can install to convert these videos? I have an HP G62-340US Notebook. Thank you for your help.

Then try the Codec pack but fetch it with Ninite.

I did look around for that CODEC and did find what seems to be it but with all the shady sites I will not be testing this for you.

here's what you'll get if you download K-lite codec from there >

2. It is recommended to use a download manager (FlashGet, Free Download Manager, WellGet, Fresh Download, etc) if you're downloading large files. Old versions of Internet Explorer don't support download resuming, and will not help you out if there is a problem with your download.

(NT) I'd stick with Ninite for now.
