Out of date. Just sharing that I never heard that a fixed driver was called a patch.
Let's be clear about one thing. No Windows version appears to fetch such drivers for us. I have no definitive cure for this one, but you should try the latest driver for that card and OS.

Help! I have a toshiba satellite 171ocds running ME.I have just loaded a PCMCIA digitus 10/100 fast ethernet 32 bit ethernet adapter and it has loaded
ok and the computer can see it, however when going though system/device manager/ "realtek RTL8139/810x family pci fast ethernet NIC" properties it is
showing the yellow exclamation mark. under proerties/ general/ device status is says "this device cannot find any free input/output range (I/O) resources
to use [code 12]". If you want to use this device, you must disable another device. I have disabled the on board NIC and modem (they wouldnt connect to
the clicnt server network anyway) and when I go to the resources tab and click the set configuration manually, it gives me the following options:
interupt request 00
memory range 00000000 - 0000000F.
input/output range 0000 -00FF [this is not available]
When i select one of either of these options and i click ok and restart, when you check the settings they are back as they were. I did notice a
similar problem in the knowledge base for windows XP where it was fixable
with a patch. Is this also? thanks Goffy
