old question forgot answer

In past posts I saw the question as to which protection combo to use.At that time mine was set and fine.HOWEVER,lol I now have a new system on the way and need to ask again.

Situation is,new system comes with Norton Internet Security. Now I must choose between pre installed XP firewall(boo hiss)free ZoneAlarm Happy or preinstalled Norton. I know most choose ZA over XP but don't know about Norton firewall.Suggestions please!

NIS is fine

In reply to: old question forgot answer

I'm currently using ZA, but have used Norton Internet Security in the past and liked it.

I'd suggest trying NIS for the duration of the subscription, and then deciding then, whether you want to renew it, or go with something else.

Thank's Brent

I guess with no negative replies I'll stay the course with NIS and evaluate.I think I also recall the advice in here to not run two firewalls as they will conflict.
