Resolved Question

old and loved scanner

Jun 21, 2018 6:31PM PDT

I just bought a used Sony all in one about 5 yrs old with windows 8. My scanner is a Epson perfection 2580. I had a Gateway (purchased new which just crashed) computer using Windows 10 and I was able to download a driver for my scanner. But now the Epson site says no driver available. My scanner works perfectly scans photos, art, everything including film and slides!
Any ideas where I can get a driver? thanks Saige

the epson website "support" does in fact say unavailable because it says it detected windows 8/64 bit. But because of you folks I looked a little further and found windows 8 /32 bit driver for the epson 2580 scanner. I have no idea what the difference is. Perhaps I will find out in my art work... will a print not look as good? Anyway thank you guys my old old scanner just SCANNED.
