Ok, maybe I missed it. . .

While trying to get the latest updates from AdAware, it wouldn't load. Going to their web site showed what appeared to be a new version. But it wasn't listed like I've seen. It's called Ad-Aware SE Personal Edition 1.05. Is this the same? It had an update and I downloaded it too. One major thing I noticed was that it did the scan in a few seconds rather than several minutes.

Again, is this just a newer faster version?

That is the current version Wayne but that build has been out for a while now. Ad-Aware SE Personal 1.05 DOES scan faster than Ad-Aware 6 did but it also checks more things than the old version did too. Donna posted an article yesterday further down the board here about support ending for the old version. Anyway, it IS faster but it still takes longer than a few seconds. It also depends on whether you are doing a "full sytem scan" or a "smart scan". I think you should try the complete (full) scan and see what comes up.
Hope this helps.

I did a smart scan, I'll try the full. The smart scan found a few things.
