Ok, I can't find it. . .

Four PCs running XP Pro. On the desktop, the words below the icons. On three PCs the words are on top of the desktop. On the other one there is a box with the script in it. For the life of me I cannot find the setting to make it like the other three.

Drop down shadows, duh! Look at the pictures again, the one on the right shows a box around the script. Now it's gone 'cause you gave me the correct link. Thanks large.

Someone else was asking about this very thing a few days ago. If I realized what you were wanting to do, I could have told you. The thread should still be here...somewhere. I was interested in that one because I wanted to do the exact opposite, put the box there. I have a lot of colorful wallpapers that make the icon text hard to read and the box fixes that.

Glad you got yours the way you want.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
