Good for us (Canada)
Good for US (you)
I have yet to hear the President refer to Canada, when he lists the "foreign countries", that the US depends on for oil.
Doesn't the President want Americans to know/realize that (approx 55%) oil imports come from Canada?
Does he think everyone already knows that?
Does he consider Canada a "foreign country"?
The figures I gave before are not backed up by this site Crude Oil and Total Petroleum Imports Top 15 Countries
It should be approx 15%
They aren't referred to as 'foreign.'
We have considerable shale right here in the good old continental USofA!!

Interesting to note: When oil companies profit, they have more leeway to invest in risky projects. Also of interest, when oil companies profit, they EMPLOY people in excellent paying jobs.
