Oh why?

Is it me or is it the flavor of the week for Java and Flash to be constantly require a install. I realize to combat any malware but has it become so easy that malware authors do this on the fly?

Nothing special with me.
What version of Java is currently installed? What versions of Flash (can be different in different browsers).

Products like flash are so widely used their a prime target.
Find a way into that and you just hit a huge audience........ca-ching.

If you want to use that product plan on being on the update merry-go-round.
