there are index.dat files that contain useful (for this purpose) information, and can be viewed with a viewer. But I'm afraid Firefox doesn't have them.
Here is my conundrum. There is a website that I visited some time ago (I'm going to guess it was a good two months ago) that I unfortunately did not bookmark. I get my sports news from various sources, but I really liked this site and now would like to revisit it. The problem is I don't remember the name or hardly anything about it other than the page design, which I still have etched in my brain. Is there some sort of log file on my system that keeps track of all the sites I have visited that I can refer back to so I can nab that URL?
I know it was sometime in late July/early August, so I'm thinking if I can scan a list of all the sites I visited during that time, it will jog my memory. I am connected to a wireless network, but do NOT have a log file enabled (I know, I probably should for security) through our router setup page. I also purge my cache in Firefox on a regular basis to eliminate any clutter, so that may also not bode well for my chances. Any help would be appreciated.
