Laura Bush poking fun at the president??!!
According to current conservative thinking, doesn't that make her un-american, un-patriotic, part of the evil empire, and (gasp) maybe even one of those awful liberal, democrats?
What is this world coming to?? I shudder to think!

...... incorporates the opinions of both parties. The poll was taken nationwide.
The First Lady is very much admired, as was her Mother-in-law.
Those opinions rise above political views, and to say otherwise casts doubt on the high regard in which she is held.

Besides, hatred is unChristian -- one is to love one's enemies, remember?

How did you arrive at your tally by the way? One usually discloses methodology when posting such results because they are very open to interpretation. I guess, however, you would expect that approach from scientists rather than the layman.

Did you read any of those posts? When you call people nazis, taliban, etc. over and over. Refer to the President as a chimp or an idiot or an imbecile, which is all too common THAT IS HATE SPEECH!
Ever seen an ANSWER rally? Ever visit Michael Moore's website? Ever listen to AirAmerica? You think it's not hate when they do a skit that features the President being shot as a positive thing
Look at reality.

Your distinction between Hatred (which is pointless, and which we don't feel) and Disgust is perfectly drawn. Indeed I actually feel nostalgic for my old disgust at Milhouse Nixon, since he seems such a mild and almost inoffensive creature after Reagan, Bush, Clinton, and Bush. Actually take Clinton out of there, he was the best Republican president since Nixon.

... but you could hardly have expected better considering how the thread was started in the first place. FNC has been playing various clips all morning -- the one about milking a horse was hysterical. Cedric the Entertainer had some funny quips about Condi, and the clips of her laughing along showed everyone having a very good time! No awkward Imus moments
